Think on these Things

In my own experience I've had the tendency to let go then pick it back up; take it the altar but pick it back up before I walk out the church doors. I have released but run to get it all back and try to fix it myself. At times, we need a new thing; we ask and pray for a new thing but deeply and passionately we have not thought it through carefully. In my own experience it is the battle of the mind and heart. I want to share a verse that has helped me to redirect my thoughts and help me to become stronger and wiser. Yesterday I shared, “letting go & release”. I pray that you found strength and wisdom in the message. Therefore moving forward I will share this bible verse that has helped me so many times when I was fighting with my thoughts-

“Think on these Things” Philippians 4

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 8Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things [are] honest, whatsoever things [are] just, whatsoever things [are] pure, whatsoever things [are] lovely, whatsoever things [are] of good report; if [there be] any virtue, and if [there be] any praise, think on these things. 9Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. 10But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.
